Compatibility Notes
- 2012+ GM trucks and SUVs equipped with factory navigation radios require the RP5-GM32
- 2014+ Silverado and Sierra: Only compatible with 2500 & 3500 series trucks with non-navigation radios. 1500 series must use the RP5-GM51. 2500 & 3500 series trucks with navigation radios must use the RP5-GM32
- In Premium Amplified Systems there will be no fading capability of the aftermarket stereo.
- Chevrolet Express vans & GMC Savannah vans equipped with diesel engines are not compatible
- In order to retain the factory XM tuner the aftermarket head unit MUST be equipped with an auxiliary input
- In order to retain the factory XM tuner the vehicle must be equipped with steering wheel controls and a driver information center
- Does not retain escalating tones of parking sensor proximity
- Does not retain lane departure or forward collision warning tones
