The NAV-TV DIFF-CAM Switcher is used to interrupt the OEM differential rear-cam video signals and input an aftermarket composite video source to the factory LCD screen, upon command. It’s activated via an external toggle switch (not included).
If using for Ford MyTouch radio to add front camera, must use in conjunction with My Ford Touch F-CAM (NTV-KIT422)
NOTE: additional hardware is required for switching outside of reverse gear (ie, a kit which enables a forced camera upon wire input trigger, is required). This kit is not specific to any particular vehicle.
